In 2010, Foragers was a recipient of a national TQUAL grant through the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism. TQUAL Grants aim to generate growth in the Australian tourism industry by encouraging businesses to create quality tourism products and experiences. In March 2011, the Minister Assisting on Tourism, Senator The Hon Nick Sherry opened Foragers Field Kitchen & Cooking School.
